Our belief is that access to the right information at the right time is more important in our health than any other aspect of life. It’s the easiest thing in the world to search for a condition, treatment or symptom on the web. But getting beyond standard information pages to something that corresponds to your exact situation from someone who might have been through the same thing is still like finding a needle in a haystack. The mission of HealthUnlocked is to put those needles in reach of anyone.
Complementing all your conversations within HealthUnlocked’s 200+ communities, our blog will feature some of our amazing partners – driving interest in specific conditions or health issues and getting some guest bloggers into the same spotlight. We will draw attention to particular campaigns that our partners are launching to spread and share some of the best ideas in health with the millions of people around the world who visit HealthUnlocked.
In the world of online health there is a lot of talk about how ‘big data’ analysis can make healthcare systems much more efficient. HealthUnlocked is doing just that, but our focus is on people, not systems.
