HealthUnlocked goes global and mobile

image

HealthUnlocked is undergoing a very exciting period of change and together, we have much to look forward to. I want to start by saying thank you. You’re the reason we have been able to achieve so much over the last few years, and the reason we continue to grow as a community. Your continued support not only means we grow as a platform, but that more people are finding a place for health support, advice and comfort.

Alongside our new website, today we are also launching a new optimised platform for mobiles and tablets, making HealthUnlocked more accessible on the go. Statistics have shown that 60% of you visit from a mobile device, so making sure navigation is as simple and easy as possible whichever way you access the platform is a priority of ours.

While we are still a relatively small team, the response to HealthUnlocked from our users has been phenomenal. We continue to grow at an exponential rate and just last month we had 3 million people visiting our platform, expanding our presence in Europe, Latin America and North America.

In the next few months we will be continuing to undergo exciting periods of change. A few things to look forward to include:

  • The launch of a HealthUnlocked app
  • New powerful search and recommendation tools
  • Even more effortless ways to connect to people
  • Simple methods to recommend communities and show support

I’d also like to take this opportunity to express enormous thanks to the HealthUnlocked team. Their hard work and dedication has meant that HealthUnlocked can continue to thrive and serve its purpose; to provide answers, give and receive support and connect with others in similar situations.

Please take a look around at what’s new and as always, feel free to give us your feedback. HealthUnlocked is in constant state of evolution and the most important building block is your experience of it.

I look forward to the future, in which we continue to grow together.

Best wishes,

Jorge Armanet
CEO – Co-Founder
