It’s the month of Veganuary, where people across Britain commit to following a vegan (plant-based) diet for one full month. And according to the official Veganuary charity, 2019 has already seen 200 000 people pledging to go vegan for the month. That means at least one person has signed up to the cause every eight seconds, putting the organization on course to hit its target of 300,000 this year.
