At HealthUnlocked HQ, we’ve been hard at work the last few months, with new platform updates, UX improvements and exciting new staff hires.
Last month we’ve appointed two key personnel to our leadership team: Joe McFadden joins HealthUnlocked as Chief Technical Officer and Paul Wicks, PhD. joins as Chief Scientific Officer. Both Joe and Paul join the senior leadership team and will report directly to our CEO and Founder of HealthUnlocked, Jorge Armanet.

Joe, a strategically focused IT leader with 20 years of experience across the creative industries, media and charity sectors joins HealthUnlocked from the Royal Opera House, where he led the delivery of a major digital transformation to reach new audiences, improve the venue experience and drive increased income.

Paul joins HealthUnlocked from PatientsLikeMe where he was Vice President of Innovation for five years and Director of Research and Development for seven years prior. He holds a PhD in Psychology from King’s College London and worked for six years at the Institute of Psychiatry. He has presented at TED talks and sits on the editorial boards of the British Medical Journal (BMJ) and BMC Medicine journal.
The new senior appointments are a result of the accelerated growth the company has experienced over the last few months. They will be instrumental in helping to drive the company forward and maintaining our position as as the digital disruptor in healthcare.
